Filming for Quiz was split between London and the home counties with pubs in Aldbury and Tring being used for Upavon in Wiltshire (Charles and Diana Ingram's village). London locations included Southwark Crown Court exteriors and Hammersmith Court interiors along with Wimbledon Film Studios.

Quiz tells the story of Charles Ingram, a former British army major, who caused a major scandal in the early 2000s after being caught cheating his way to winning £1 million on the game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? It tells how Ingram, his wife Diana and an accomplice, Tecwen Whittock, who was sitting in the audience, initially pulled off the on-screen heist before being caught and standing trial.
When television producer Paul Smith puts everything on the line to make ITV quiz show and overnight sensation `Who Wants to be a Millionaire?', one family's much-loved pub quiz hobby turns into outright obsession.
