Written and directed by Kenneth Branagh, Belfast was one of the first movies to film during the coronavirus pandemic which impacted how they had to approach filming.
Initially it had been planned that the street featured in the film would be done in an upmarket part of London, however has the pandemic hit this was decided impractical so it was decided that they would need to recreate the street used on a set, and the end of the runway at Farnborough Airport was used

Buddy is a young boy on the cusp of adolescence, whose life is filled with familial love, childhood hijinks, and a blossoming romance.
