Operation Mincemeat was filmed during 2020 just before the global Pandemic struck. Filming was done throughout London at several well known locations including along The Mall, Somerset House and the Reform Club. A beach in Devon was used for key battle scenes and a building in Malaga was used for a Spanish government building.

In 1943, two British intelligence officers concoct Operation Mincemeat, wherein their plan to drop a corpse with false papers off the coast of Spain would fool Nazi spies into believing the Allied forces were planning to attack by way of Greece rather than Sicily.
