Apples Never Fall is based on the novel by Liane Moriarty, the Australian author of ten books including Big Little Lies (now an HBO series).
In fact, the book of Apples Never Fall is set in Sydney, New South Wales, but the TV show relocated the action to Florida, where there’s a major tennis scene year-round.

The Delaney House
The Delaneys’ house locations are in Apples Never Fall are in Pimpama and at Villa Vittoria, 26-34 Knightsbridge Parade East in the Sovereign Islands on Australia’s Gold Coast.
The Paradise Point, Queensland home was used for exterior shots of the Apples Never Fall house. It was recently listed for sale at $45 million, and it’s no surprise that this is an impressive home offscreen, too.
Inside you’ll find 6 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, marble columns and spiral staircases. And outside, a stunning pool area overlooks the water – while a statue of Neptune overlooks the entrance.
The tennis courts were built on location in Pimpama, about half an hour inland from Paradise Point. And in an interview with NBC Insider, Alison Brie revealed that the majority of the Apples Never Fall house scenes were filmed at Village Roadshow Studios.
“The house was fully built on a soundstage. We would shoot a lot of the interior stuff there ’cause you have all the control. And you have bathrooms, real bathrooms .... But the tennis court and the exterior of the house were all built out in a field of mud in the middle of nowhere.”

Paradise Motel
The Paradise Motel location in Apples Never Fall is the Jadran and El Jays Holiday Lodge on Frank Street in Labrador, Gold Coast.
In Episode 2 of the BBC One series, Logan and Troy Delaney go to the motel with Savannah. Later, in the present, the police detective revisits the Paradise Motel to see if they can find any records of Savannah staying there.

After getting nowhere with the receptionist, Troy and Logan argue at the edge of the parking lot near White Street. They reveal some home truths before the receptionist approaches Brooke and Amy.
