The Home Guard of Walmington-on-Sea take to the silver screen in this 1971 adventure, filmed at the height of the sitcom's popularity.

The action starts with a recap of the platoon's formation before the self-important Captain Mainwaring, charming Sergeant Wilson and the team are called to action.

Along the way, they get into all the kinds of scrapes and mishaps we love from the sitcom, including a boot camp that takes an unexpected turn thanks to Lance Corporal Jones and co.
