Channel 5 drama Cold Call, starring Sally Lindsay, was first broadcast in 2019. Filming was done predominantly in the Manchester area with a housing estate near Manchester City's Etihad Stadium featuring heavily throughout as June's flat.
A mansion near Macclesfield was used as Kirk Wiley's house.

June Clarke loses the money from the sale of her house to fraudsters and attends a support group for victims of such scams where she meets old school mate Des Grigsby. He persuades her to take a job caring for the mother of respected businessman Kirk Wiley, who he suspects is involved in the criminal enterprise that targeted both of them.
June Clarke's world is turned upside down when she becomes the victim of a cold call scam. Spurred on by a chance meeting with an old friend, June decides to track down the scammers and take her revenge...
