Christmas at Plumhill manor was filmed at Crow’s Hall in Suffolk, Russell Road in Ipswich, and The Rows in Chester.
When New York architect Margot Stone (Maria Menounos) inherits an English manor house, the will states that she has to live in it for a week before making a decision on what to do with it.
Can local Alfie Bailey (Kyle Pryor) convince her that the house and its estate are something special? It’s hard to argue with the charm of snowy trees, crackling fires and Christmas markets…

Plumhill Manor Locations
Plumhill Manor
The real Plumhill Manor location is Crow’s Hall near Stowmarket, a privately owned wedding venue. The oldest parts of the building date back to the 1560s, but a house has stood on the site for a thousand years.
Never fear though, it’s been carefully renovated by the present day owner.
Crow's Hall runs tours for visitors, check the venue's website for how to book a place.
Endeavour House
Suffolk Council’s Endeavour House on Russell Road, Ipswich is another Christmas at Plumhill Manor location in Suffolk. This modern office building is situated near Ipswich City Centre, which is around half an hour’s drive from Crow’s Hall.
The Rows
The scenes with the timbered town buildings in Christmas at Plumhill Manor were filmed at The Rows in Chester.
Chester’s signature streets were built in the medieval period, roughly following the Roman road layout below. Though in fact, most have been renovated or reconstructed over the years.
It’s not just the timbering that makes them distinctive, they’re also multi-level. Some of the shops inside are at ground level, while others are set higher up on a covered terrace that runs one storey up.

Eastgate
Look out another Chester, England filming location in Christmas at Plumhill Manor, Eastgate and the Eastgate Clock.
A Roman fortress once stood on the same site, and it was replaced by successive gateways for hundreds of years.
The current, Grade I-listed Eastgate was built in 1768, while the clock was added over a century later, in 1899.
