Where was The Queen Filmed?

The Queen centres around the events of Diana's death in 1997. The only Paris location featured is The Westin Paris Vendome which stands in for The Ritz. In the UK several well known London locations feature such as Goldsmith's Hall, Old Royal Naval College and Downing Street lookalike, John Adam Street. Balmoral is split across several locations in Scotland for interior and exterior shots including Cluny Castle and Blairquhan Castle.

The Queen is an intimate behind the scenes glimpse at the interaction between HM Elizabeth II and Prime Minister Tony Blair during their struggle, following the death of Diana, to reach a compromise between what was a private tragedy for the Royal family and the public's demand for an overt display of mourning.
